Arizona’s Original Scream Park

Arizona’s oldest and largest Halloween event, the Scream Park features four haunted attractions, Alice’s House of Nightmares, 3-D Fear Factory, Castle of Darkness, and Goldminer’s Revenge, plus rides, vendors, and specialty food. Open Thursday-Sunday through October 25, Friday & Saturday, 7 p.m.-1 a.m., Thursday & Sunday, 7 -11p.m. Beginning Monday, October 26, the park will be open everyday through November 1, 2009. Ahwatukee Haunted House and Hayride

Visitors to the Ahwatukee Community Swim and Tennis Center's 8th annual event will enjoy a haunted hayride through the park, where they’ll encounter various ‘creatures of the night’, with a stop at the center’s haunted house; treats await those who escape successfully! For those seeking a more ghoulish adventure, Tolmachoff Farms offers Arizona Field of Screams, a twisted corn maze planted over a former cemetery. The disturbed souls who once rested there return at night to terrorize any who dare to enter. Not recommended for ages 10 and under. Open Thursday- Saturday, 7 -11 p.m., throughout October 2009. From just a few cardboard tombstones in 1999, this residential Halloween highlight has grown into a full-blown haunted attraction. Nearly 50 feet of ‘tunnel’ leads into two horror chambers, housing the likes of Dracula, the Wolfman, a Reaver, and much more. Resident Chris Lagemann doesn’t charge admission to his ghoulish abode, but gratefully accepts donations toward future additions. The attraction opens Tuesday, October 27, and will run everyday, 7-10 p.m., through Halloween 2009. Admission is free. www.chandlerhalloween.com.
Doomtown’s “Refuge of the Unwanted” at Rawhide

Rawhide’s annual Halloween event returns this year with added goblins and goo for a truly haunting experience. Two complete haunted attractions, The Crypt and The Asylum, terrorize visitors who dare to enter. Golfland invites thrill seekers to travel back in time to the 1300s and experience The Gauntlet Haunted House, where tormented souls battle the Black Death. ‘The Haunting’ at Halloween Express
